That's a more publicly visible compliance signal than most jurisdictions on this list, which makes staying ahead of deductions a customer-facing issue, not just a regulatory one.

Fire Safety Regulations in Calexico

Calexico Fire Department is a separate AHJ from El Centro, reviewing plans for kitchen suppression systems and other built-in fire protection for code conformance before installation, in addition to routine inspections of the city's border-crossing commercial corridor.
